Easier staff octave recognition
Octaves are identified by displaying the octave number (1 to 7) next to the C red line on the staff. With really wide ranging scores, it would help to have a more obvious visual indication without having to examine the octave numbers. A very simple change should help as shown in the figure below which shows the entire keyboard range. By making the staff lines for even-numbered thicker, it makes it possible to recognize the octave without having to read the octave number.
